Welcome to our 2023 Annual Report!

The Bexley Community Foundation has reached many milestones since our founding in 2010 – $5.3 million in total grants awarded to our community, successfully launched two capital campaigns; the Jeffrey Mansion Expansion Project and Year of the Parks, conducts three grant cycles annually, and hosts a yearly Annual Event in appreciation of our donors. Thank you for your continued support of our organization.

Over the last decade, you and other generous donors have given our Foundation the resources to award over 250 grants ranging from $500 to $1.75 million to Bexley-based organizations. These grants fund projects that include beautification, the arts, youth programming, support neighbors in need, community events, our Bexley Arboretum, Jeffrey Mansion and so much more. Enhancing and strengthening our Foundation will make more of these grants possible.

The mission of the Bexley Community Foundation is to sustain and enhance Bexley as a special place to live, learn, work, play and care. Your support helps us achieve our mission. Without you, none of this would be possible. We hope you see firsthand how your donations are making a difference in our community, as a community. What we do today creates Bexley’s tomorrow.

We hope to see you around Bexley soon!

Community-wide, accessible outdoor recreation space is one of the Foundation’s priorities. Funded through our Anne and Sam Powers Youth and Recreation Fund, projects are coordinated in partnership with Bexley Recreation and Parks and the Bexley City School District. Projects include the Solomon Pickleball Courts, Bexley City School’s Tennis Courts, Maryland, Cassingham, and Montrose Elementary playgrounds, and the ice-skating rink located at Jeffrey Mansion.
